This shirt screams SUMMER! Although it’s now August, summertime in South Carolina doesn’t end until it decides to. This summer has been quite eventful for me, I have been back in forth from Florida, New York and South Carolina. One of my career highlights this summer was speaking at SMAD Con in Charleston, South Carolina. I spoke on two separate panels one being on the topic of trends in fashion and social media. The other panel was about how to get discovered on social media…..it was a blessing to give my own insights to what I have learned through my years of utilizing social media to grow my message and platform.

Social media can be a place for positivity and inspiration but it can also be a place for cyber bullying and more. We need to keep the internet and social media safe. Educating our youth the right way to connect can be vital for future generations to come. We all have a responsibility to make and help keep the internet a safe place where people can go for help, inspiration, knowledge and entertainment.
