Long time no talk! If you follow me on Instagram then you would know that I have had a busy few weeks. I have just gotten back from New York Men’s Fashion Week, it was so much fun. I’m glad I got to go again this year. The shoes were absolutely amazing my favorites were Nick Graham, John Elliot and Nautica (I met Lil’ Yatchy) he was super cool. Seeing my northern blogger friends help me continue to get some good inspiration for content. I had an amazing time staying at the Park Central Hotel! Everyone there was so accommodating and nice, of course when I first landed I had to go by my favorite place….Shake Shack. It was so great and it’s even better cause I only get it twice a year 🙂 I appreciate you all supporting me through my fashion, style and body confident adventures.
More good news my book is officially available for pre-order on Amazon! Be sure to reserve your copy now! It’s going to be awesome…..I promise 🙂
Magazines and the media always tell us to wear vertical stripes because they make you look thinner. I personally don’t give a damn about looking thinner I care about looking and feeling confident. I love this sweater because it has HORIZONTAL stripes and bright colors to add to the attention. I mean this sweater represents everything us “big fellas” shouldn’t wear right?! According to all those unrealistic style tips from people that don’t get how people actually work because they are out of touch with reality. Ignore the haters and wear what makes you feel great!! And I feel great in this stripes 🙂 #StripeLove #GapLove
Somedays you just gotta put one a smile! And I’m not talking about some cheesy fake one either. We often get consumed with work and life that we forget to take a second, look around us and just smile for what we have. It’s easy to get lost in the struggle and hustle…..trust me I know. Honestly, I often get wrapped up in it myself but for some reason during this shoot at the University of South Carolina’s iconic horseshoe I felt life. It hugged me and reminded me of all the amazing things I am blessed with; health, family, an amazing wife and an awesome fashion blog. I couldn’t help but smile at watching my daughters chase each other around the horseshoe (behind the scenes) while shooting this look. I encourage all of you to take a moment out of your busy week to just appreciate what we have 🙂 Don’t forget to smile!
P.S. Happy Birthday to my oldest daughter Temperance! She turns 6 today 🙂
Today’s leather forecast is black with a 90% chance of style. Something about a leather jacket makes me feel so cool like James Dean, it can transform you from average to a bad ass instantly. Leather jacket, denim, boots and sunglasses are ALWAYS a hit…when in doubt always use that combination it will never fail you. Leather jackets can’t be worn everyday you need to break them out for special occasions or rare days so when you do rock it it’s a bit of a shocker (in a good way). Despite your size or how you think you look wear a leather jacket and if you don’t have enough cash flow to purchase a real one it’s totally okay to rock a faux leather jacket! Who gives a shit and people that do care tell them it’s none of their business, never worry about what the next man is doing. Do you and do you to the best. Screw everything else, love yourself, ignore the haters and wear what makes YOU feel confident! All day 🙂 #LeatherForAllSizes
