J. Crew & Anthropologie | Columbia SC
Retail titans J. Crew and Anthropologie have decided to open up shop here in Columbia South Carolina! They will be located in Trenholm Plaza in Forest Acres taking the place of the recently closed down Books-A-Million store. This announcement can’t get any better for Columbia’s retail market, in the past few years The Mast General Store, Trader Joes, Whole Foods and Urban Outfitters have found a home here in Cola town. With Columbia and The University of South Carolina visibly growing rapidly it’s a no brainer why such retailers are migrating here. Columbia attracts many people in search of jobs, fun night life, weekend activities and even higher education!
J. Crew which is known for its classy and casual clothing and accessories will offer a range of threads for the whole family. Anthropologie will feature chic urban americana women’s clothing and home decor, both stores will open in the fall. These retailers that have opened up shop in the Upstate and the Lowcountry for years and have left many shoppers wondering why Columbia hasn’t attracted the highly sought after stores.
This news comes at the right timing, Columbia shoppers like myself that often travel to Charlotte or Charleston to purchase clothing from these retailers will no longer have to go through great lengths to get this merchandise! With J. Crew and Anthropologie being my wife and I’s favorite clothing stores, I would say we’re in trouble (hahahaa). Now all I need is a Cole Haan and Brooks Brothers store to open and I will be forever fashionably satisfied! Brace yourselves people and be ecstatic that J. Crew and Anthropologie are coming to Columbia South Carolina! GOOOOOO COCKSSSSSSS!!!
