I am a sucker for some Chelsea boots. They are easy to slip on and off, come in an array of styles, and look good with EVERYTHING! Personally, I have a black pair, a brown pair, and a pink suede pair. What I love most about the Chelsea boot is it’s a year round shoe. Don’t get me wrong, I love lace-up boots too, but when you’re on a time schedule and you just want to get well dressed and leave, the Chelsea boot is the answer. Make sure you find a style that fits your personal preference. If you like a rounded toe, then go with that, and so forth. The styles are endless; just make sure you get a quality pair that doesn’t hurt your feet.
Every man should have at least one white oxford shirt. I prefer the traditional American oxford shirts with the buttons on the collar. When you find a brand and fit you like, I suggest stocking up on colors like black, grey, blue, and one statement color (pink, purple, red) or pattern. These shirts are so versatile, they can be dressed up or down and worn with anything from suits to casual outfits.
They fit just about any and every occasion imaginable, and they will never let you down when you are in need of something to wear. They are a mandatory staple to have in your wardrobe. I suggest getting at least two white oxford shirts so you can change them out periodically and not have to rely on just one! 🙂
I have always believed that dressing well is a form of good manners. Manners will get you places money can’t. Dressing well not only shows that you care but it also shows that you had enough manners to dress for the occasion whether it be a date, night out or charity event. When you dress well people will take notice, there is nothing more unforgettable than that a well dressed, well mannered and very likable person at the party. That’s the person people usually gravitate to, they often have positive energy and that transfers to others has good vibes. Be that guy or lady. Be well dressed and well mannered, be you be confident 🙂
I remember being a trendsetter from when I was in middle school! I took one of my Dad’s shiny night at the Roxbury type of polo and wore it in the 7th grade. EVERYONE wanted the same shirt but it was a Vintage Liz Claiborne shirt and they did not make them anymore. I knew ever since that point that I had to influence to be a trendsetter. I was wearing things at my school wayyyyyy before other guys were.
I would often even get teased for being myself and having my own style. I loved who I was and what I represented which was 100% realness. I have always been an advocate for being the best version of yourself no matter what others may or may not think about you! I say this because I mean it, be you and be confident……be a trendsetter! #ModernGentleman
