Falling For My Fix

I started my blog in late 2013, my mission was to not only help men of all sizes find confidence in their appearance but to also add diversity to menswear. As we all know men of larger sizes often have trouble finding clothing that fits well on their body. I was on the receiving end of that numerous times, often being discreetly body shamed by sales associates. Almost 5 years later the menswear industry is finally starting to catch up by fulfilling the needs of their customers providing extended sizing! And NOW Stitch Fix has done it!!!

YES, you heard me right. They now have extended sizes, athletic wear, new tailored options including suits and dress shirts plus a number of accessories for each fix. Those of you who aren’t familiar with Stitch Fix let me give you quick run down. Stitch Fix is a personal styling service that is delivered to you every month (or whatever time you schedule it). You simply start by making a style profile based off your personal style. You fill out your size details, the clothing style you like then pay $20 to have your fix curated and BOOM! A stylist will personally pick 5 items to send to you which is called “a fix”. Each fix is designed to meet your specific style, body and budget. Once you receive the fix you get to try on, keep what you like and send back what you don’t. If you chose to keep all the pieces you get a 25% discount off the whole purchase when you checkout at Vessi shoe wear.

Pictured is my recent fix for this Fall! It came with a pair of dark grey stretch denim, two thick cotton short sleeve shirts (made for layering), some light brown suede shoes and a denim jacket. Y’all can see how I styled them, there was so much variety with these looks. I essentially got 4 outfits out of them, now thats what I call versatility. And all of you should know by now that I’m all about functionality and versatility when it comes to style. So, get your fix on with sizes XS-3XL, 28-42 waist and inseam 28-38″ now! #StitchFixInfluencer
